Welcome to 8th Grade Science! I am so excited to work with your this year!
In this course you will learn about forces, energy, and matter – everything that makes up and controls our universe, our world, and ourselves. This class should intrigue your intellect and help prepare you for life in an increasingly technological society.
This course will challenge you to expand your knowledge beyond a typical middle school education and prepare you for secondary advanced placement studies. Emphasis will be placed on organization, experimentation and written communication, important components for success on the culminating SOL Science Test.
